BAR PREP COOK
Viridian is a craft cocktail bar in Uptown Oakland that features seasonal desserts and small dishes inspired by the Asian American experience. Viridian opened in February 2020 to an overwhelming response from both media outlets and the Bay Area community. We have been highlighted in Eater SF, SF Chronicle, Berkeleyside, 7x7, The Infatuation SF, Mercury, SF Gate, and many other well-known publications. In 2020, Viridian became a Tales of the Cocktail Honoree for Best New Bar on the West Coast.
1+ years of experience preferable, but willing to train
Unique position for a prep cook to prepare our beverage program (not our food program)
Batches cocktails to be used throughout the week
Prepares list of products to order, should they notice shortage
Takes inventory of cocktail stock and ensures par levels are met before service
Prepares syrups, garnishes, juices, and other ingredients necessary for beverage program
Cleans up after themselves as they prepare cocktail ingredients
Technique and culinary-driven bar program perfect for those wanting something more interesting than the average prep chef job
Great daytime position for those who need nights free
